Santa Claus is coming to town!
1 Dec 2018
With so many different events happening it’s hard to know what to head to and what to avoid! But we’ve searched around for you so you know where’s the best places to check out over the festive period!
Dubai Festival City Mall Festive Market 6-25 December
Santa likes to make an entrance sometimes, and the reindeer do need a day or two off so he’ll be arriving via helicopter on December 6! His elves will be alongside too. Heard of the IMAGINE show? Been before even? For Christmas the show will have a festive theme. Maybe it’ll even snow?! Just don’t forget to have some food. Don’t forget about the Christmas tree too, although we can’t imagine you’d miss it (it’s pretty big!)
La Farine at JW Marriott 4-26 December
Not ready for all the seasonal chocolatey food? We won’t judge you (much!) But at this Christmas market you have all of the chocolatey food, and also items such as strawberry fondue to mix things up a little!
Madinat Jumeirah Christmas Market 20-28 December
If you want to head somewhere with a large range of festive activities, but you’re a bit pushed for time before Christmas then here is the place to go!
Germany is a bit far to travel too if you want to go to a proper German market right? Well you’re in luck as the Madinat Jumeirah’s market features a traditional German market! There’s also a nice Arabic twist with santa and his elves driving abras! We know Dubai will be hot over the festive period, but the market has catered for everything. Such as a snow zone for children, and if you want to get really creative there’s a gingerbread house making station too. Yum!
To wrap the whole market up and make it feel as festive as can be they of course have a huge Christmas tree!
However maybe you simply don’t have the time or patience for a Christmas market this year? How about just a nice coffee? Costa have just released a new hazelnut praline latte, amongst others! The best part? You can decide if you want it hot or blended, into a ‘frostino’. We’re thinking frostino to cool us down but still get those Christmassy vibes!
